Transitioning from liaison roles with tech giants like Compaq and Hewlett-Packard, John showcased his entrepreneurial prowess by establishing his own IT tech support venture. However, it was the realm of real estate technology where John truly carved his niche. In the wake of the 2009 GFC, he founded ‘Check My House Price’, swiftly elevating it to Australia’s premier lead generation entity by 2013.
John’s tech acumen and decades of experience found its place at Market Buy in 2018. First as the Chief Digital Strategist and then as the CEO where he has been the driving force behind groundbreaking proptech solutions, with a focus on transparency, authenticity and breaching the gap between the real estate industry and it’s market.
Beyond his entrepreneurial milestones, John stands as a passionate voice in the proptech domain. He has shared his expertise on esteemed platforms across Australia, New Zealand and the US, leaving a lasting impact on the industry’s digital evolution. As the CEO of Market Buy, John’s leadership was further underscored after successfully steering the company into and guiding it through the prestigious REACH Australia accelerator program, cementing its position as a trailblazer in the sector.
